Goa gudawang - a Cave near Bogor, Indonesia -

Have you ever visited Bogor at West Java, Indonesia? If you have visited it, may be you know so much about tourism object there. But, have you known about Goa Gudawang? Let me tell you about it..

Goa Gudawang is a cave ( in Indonesia, cave is "goa" or "gua"). It is located approximately 1 hour from Darmaga, Bogor, Indonesia. I have ever visited it, some years ago, with my team -Diaspora PMK Bogor Agricultural University-. If you start from Darmaga, you can go there by using public transportation named "Angkot"  for the destination: Jasinga-Leuwiliang. You will enter Leuwiliang area, and after you see many palm plantation, you will arrive at Cigudeg village. There is a crossroad, and please take the right way, not the straight one. there, you can use other public transportation, just tell people overthere that you want to go to Goa Gudawang.. You arrive at this place when you see this gate.

It looks like a silent place. ya, that's true. From that gate, you can walk after you come to the second gate. There are some cave. but, i forget how much it is. When I went there, I just entered two cave. First, i came to the left cave. It is short enough. As usual, this cave was dark and slippery, you have to be careful. Secondly, I came to the right cave. To reach this cave, we will walk down trough some stairway..
It is nature condition of this cave..

Plants overthere is green and so fresh to look.
Then, It is frontside of the cave..
It is wonderful place i think, how about you?
oh yeah, i have to introduce you that man. He is my brother in my community, i call him my angel brother, named Afryan L. Saragih.
Ok, back to the topic,, when we entered this cave, we have to brave, and walk carefully. If you are not sure to do that, please wait infront of it. but, i recommend you to enter because the adventure you will get is so precious and unforgetable.

First, you better put your shoes outside. When you come in, you have to bring torch, or something else that help you see in the dark. Walk carefully because sometimes you need to bend over because of low ceiling or because of bats attack. When there are bats, it's better to stop walking, silent and then you continue to walk after the bats go. Sometimes the path is uphill, so you have to help one another to avoid falling out, because the stone was so sharp.
If you are lucky, you will meet beautiful white shiny stone there,. This is the picture.

It is so beautiful, isn't it? It looks like a sparkler.. The guide said that this is formed from water that froozen naturally because of the condition of the cave. it formed drops by drops of water so it looks like dropping honey. Do you want to see it? Just come in.. :D

One adventourous experience we got at that time was when the water stream in this cave increase and faster. the guide said that we have to come back to the front of the cave, because it will be flood inside the cave. When the flood happen, all of hole inside the cave will filled by water. So we walk rapidly to the front of the cave..

it is so relieved when all of us can reach fresh air outside the cave, and know that we safe then. After that, we backhome to Darmaga, Bogor.. This is the end of our trip to Goa Gudawang..

My hometown

Tahukah kamu daerah Cilacap, Jawa Tengah?

Do you know Cilacap regency at Central Java? Ya, you maybe know it because of its famous port -Tanjung Intan-, with small island that used to isolate the prisoner -Nusakambangan island-, or because of its tourism object -Teluk Penyu and Benteng Pendem-. Ya, that is Cilacap, a regency at south west point of Central Java province, Indonesia.

In that regency, I was born. Actually, my village is far enough from Cilacap town. I stay in one subregion named Majenang. i know that most of you will not know about it. It has proven when i stayed in TPB dormitory of Bogor Agricultural University. I said I came from majenang, but my friend thought it is "Majene" at Sulawesi island. My subregion is about 1 hour from West Java. Even though you haven't known about my subregion, it doesn't mean that you haven't passed through it. Why?
It's because my subregion will passed when you return home at Feast day from West Java through south road. When you have passed the border of West Java- Central Java, you will meet a rubber plantation area with many unstraight road. After that, you will enter some village, and you will meet my subregion, it is crowd enough. After you pass my subregion, you will enter a more unstraight area named Lumbir. In this area, there are so much pine tree. You have to pay attention if you drive your car in this area and stay unsleepy. It's because many accidents happen in this area, and when it is heavyrain, it is possible that soil erotion will happen. So, have a nice n safe trip :D

Now, i want to show you some picture in my subregion, especially its village area. I am very excited when i see it because it remind me about my hometown. I miss its peaceful village, the blue skies without many pollution, the green ricefield and forest, and absolutelly its thick and white cloud - everything i can't see all the time at Bogor-

It is picture of my backside of my house. there are some crowd houses but simple ones. From the backside of my second floor, i can see beautiful mountain, trees and cloud.

It is picture of the way to reach my house. The situation is still silent and low pollution. I captured this picture when i am on a pedicab (becak), a traditional vehicle with three wheels.

Aku menyukainya.

This picture is about ricefield area near the market in my hometown. The way here is so bumpy, but the air is so fresh. I like this very much.

Rumahku, tunggu aku, aku datang..

Finally, i want to go home, for the time being, relax from busy activity at this high pollution city. My hometown, wait me, i will come as soon as possible.
